This fifty gram pack of Shan butter chicken mix is recommended for use with one kilogram of chicken to ensure that you get the intensity of flavor and aroma that you would expect from a dish of butter chicken. Although instructions to prepare the dish are given on the box, you can use the Shan butter chicken mix with your own recipe. Although butter chicken is typically prepared in a tandoor before being added to the sauce, the recipe given on the Shan butter mix box suggests stir frying instead.
