National Aloo Gosht Salan

Preparation Cooking Serving

Ingredients
Meat ½ kg
Onion 2 medium (thinly sliced)
Potato 2-3 (medium cubed)
Oil/ghee ½ cup
Ginger paste 1 tsp
Garlic paste 1 tsp
Yogurt ½ cup
Green chillies 2-3 whole
National Salan Masala 3 tbsp

Method
1. Fry onion in oil/ghee until golden brown.
2. Then add meat, ginger and garlic; cook for 5 minutes.
3. Then add national salan masala and yogurt.
4. Cook a few more minutes then add enough water to tenderize meat and water evaporates.
5. Stir fry tenderized meat for a few minutes until oil separates.
6. Then add potato and 1-2 cups water.
7. Cover and cook on slow flame until potato soft.
8. At the end add green chillies and remove from heat.
9. Garnish with green coriander and serve with naan and rice.

Ingredients
Onion 1 (thinly sliced)
Ginger paste 1 tsp
Garlic paste 1 tsp
Tomato 2 (rough chopped)
Potato 250g (cubed)
Cauliflower 250g
Peas 250g
Carrot 250b (sliced)
Green chillies 2-3 whole
Oil/ghee ½ cup
National Salan Masala 2-3 tbsp

Method
1. Fry onion in oil/ghee until golden brown.
2. Add ginger, garlic, tomato, national salan masala and cook for a few minutes.
3. Now add all vegetables, stir fry then add 1 cup water.
4.Cover and cook on slow heat till all vegetables soft.
5. At the end add green chillies and remove from heat.
6. Garnish with green coriander and serve.
